For artists? Yes, it is free!

For viewers, After 2 free films, they can either support artists with each video you watch, or pay for a monthly subscription to support artists with each view.

Waterfall’s goal is to enable indie filmmakers to get compensated for their work and support future projects. 

Artists earn in two ways:

Direct payments – Supporters can pay you directly through your artist page or under your work.

Streaming revenue – A share of your subscription fee goes to the creators you watch, proportional to your watch time.

We didn’t plan to get so personal so quickly, but you asked, so here it goes: our team loves indie art and film, and want to help our friends and other directors, performers, and artists of all stripes get both recognition and, importantly, compensation, for their incredible work. Too often, artists are expected to create without receiving support.
